WAS IST DHAMMIKA KAI KAN
Wenn wir über die Geschichte der Kampfkünste
nachdenken, wissen wir, dass sie von indischen Mönchen zur Selbstverteidigung und zum Schutz gegen Diebe gegründet wurde; anschließend wurden die Übungen für die Erhaltung der Gesundheit weiter praktiziert.
Später, als einer der Mönche mit Namen Bodhi Dharma nach China ging, um den Buddhismus zu verbreiten, führte er ebenfalls bei den chinesichen Mönchen diese Kampfkunst ein. Von diesem Zeitpunkt an wurden die Kampfkünste mit ihren vielen verschiedenen Stilrichtungen in der ganzen Welt populär und für jedermann praktizierbar.
Dhammika ist auch ein buddhistisches Wort. Es bedeutet Frieden.
Shihan Athula Minithanthri praktiziert Karate seit 1970 und gründete nach seiner über 30-jährigen Karatelaufbahn, in der er von verschiedenen Karate-Do und Karate-Jutsu Meistern unterrichtet wurde, diesen Stil, um seine Erfahrungen weiterzugeben.
Es ist eine neue Karate-Do Organisation, die anerkannte traditionelle japanische Katas, Semi-Kontakt Kampftechniken nach den Richtlinien von Japan Karate-Do Shitoryu Seiko Kai unterrichtet. Diese Richtlinien sind von der "World Karate-Do Federation" anerkannt. Ferner werden auch separat Vollkontakt Karate-Do Techniken nach den weltweit anerkannten Vollkontakt Karate-Do Regeln gelehrt. Das Hauptziel dieses Stils ist die Weitergabe von effektiven und fortgeschrittenen Kampftechniken, so dass unsere Schüler die besten Allround Kämpfer werden.
Dhammika Kai Kan ist der offizielle Vertreter von World Martial Arts Council und Japan Karate-Do Seiko Kai.

WHAT IS DHAMMIKA KAI KAN
When we are thinking about the history of the martial arts the way it was founded we know Buddhist monks in India have created this martial arts to protect their valuable belongings from the thieves. Finally they used it as their
exercises also to continue their good health.
Later, one of their Buddhist monk called Bodhi Dharma, went to China to develop Buddhism. He introduced this martial arts also to the Chinese Buddhist monks.
From then on gradually its became very popular martial arts to the whole world with hundreds of difference style for every one to practice. Dhammika is also a Buddhist word. It means Peaceful.
Having been a Karate practitioner since 1970, for more than 30years doing several Karate-Do and Karate-Jutsu styles from the world renowned masters,

Shihan Athula Minithanthri created this new style to the world for the purpose of offering his long journey experience to the world. It is a Pioneer Karate-Do Federation which teach Japanese traditional recognized Katas and all styles of Semi contact Fighting Techniques under the instructions of Japan Karate-Do Shitoryu Seiko Kai which is recognized by the World Karate Federation and also separately Full Contact Karate-Do Fighting Techniques under the World Full Contact Fighting Rules which is also recognized by the whole world, gather with the new methodical way.

  What is the difference between other Karate styles and Dhammika Kai Kan:
Before Karate became recognized martial arts in Japan all the grandmasters practice its together meeting in a hidden places and some periods in a history we know Soke Mabuni, Soke Motobu, Soke Hironori Otzuka, Soke Miyagi came to Soke Yasuhiro Konishi's house in Tokyo and practice together some times 3 months, some times 6 months, etc,etc. sharing all of their knowledges to each others.
But now a days most of Karate Grandmasters change every Traditional Katas which they are practising at least a little bit according to their styles.
a)But Dhammika Kai Kan try our best to countinue every Traditional Katas in a same Japanese original ways to    practise without changing any as possible.
b)Also we teach all the WKF recognized Shitei Katas as it is for a compulsory katas for their Dan tests regardless     styles.
c)Dhammika Kai Kan also practice most of all the Traditional Karate Katas regardless any particular style.

The main purpose of this style is to provide all kind of very effective and advance fighting techniques to their members to be the best all round fighters in the world ever before.
Dhammika Kai Kan is the official representative for World Martial Arts Council and Japan Karate-Do Seiko Kai.
Member of the German Sports Union and German National Karate Federation(DKV), European(EKF) & World Karate Federation(WKF).

***Japanese Master Kyoshi Akira Sato - 8th Dan, one of the Technical Director and Adviser to Dhammika Kai Kan. He     is the Vice President of All Japan Shitoryu Karate-Do Seiko Kai, Chairman & Vice President of Shito Ryu Seiko Kai      International, Technical Director of National Karate Federation in Canada and Overseas Chief Instructor of Japan      Karate-Do Shitoryu Seiko Kai Internatinal.
